Question: Could there be a return of Grunge!?
I mean, it lasted for just a decade!. Could grunge music go for round two!?
Cobain was shot, there goes Nirvana!. Soundgarden and Alice in Chains split up!. Then Pearl Jam switches it's sound to alternative!. And then the Post-Grunge rage comes up!.
But, Stone Temple Pilots are making a new album, so can that fuel a comeback of Grunge!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Not a chance in hell!.!.!.!.it's like trying to re-create the late 70's punk movement!. If those bands were still around (The ones you mentioned), I don't think they would still have that "grunge" sound!.
Grunge was heavily influenced by 80's Indie!.!.!.!.the sound is gone, but the memory still remains!.
also, I never considered Stone Temple Pilots a grunge band!. They're one of my favorites (Just saw them live), but they were always just a rock band to me!.!.!.!.plain and simple!. I truly found the grunge movement to be limited to Seattle!. Tally up the bands you consider to be grunge and look at where they originated!. That city has always been the home of grunge!.!.!.
STP copying Nirvana's sound!? I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with that!. I hear zero resemblance in their musical styles, not to mention the lyrics too!. If anybody copied anybody, it was Nirvana taking from The Pixies!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeah, haven't you ever heard of "post grunge"!? Nickleback, Staind, Hinder!.!.!.that's what you get when bands try to copy the grunge sound!. It's crap!.

Music must always progress!.!.!.WILL always progress, whether we like it or not!. Even if all of your favorite grunge bands got back together and recorded new albums, would it be the same!? Would you be satisfied!?

Nothing like listening to lame metal ballads to prime you for Speed metal or grunge!.
Oh and when they start using the Pixies as background for movies (third instance this week) you can be sure the sound has fans!.

If it did, it would have to be sincere, not a bunch of music corporations that only make scenes for a buck!. If grunge did make a comeback, it would need to be without the music corporations!. Early 90s grunge was pretty good, but then it just kind of died!.!.!.peace!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

theres alot of ways to view it!.!.!.technically its always been around just not in mainstream!.!.!.or it has been alive through pearl jam and now stone temple pilots!. the problem with it coming back with the name grunge is that any band that comes along and decides to label themselves grunge are automatically trapped inside the image of a nirvana clone band and thats what they become!. if it came back by storm like we hope it cant go by the name grunge initially!. itll have to be just another alternative indie druggy rock band that hit it big somehow!.!.!.basically its not going to happen but be happy!.!.!.grunge is great because its different, if it came back everyone would be grunge again and then id fit in again!.!.!.f*ck thatWww@Enter-QA@Com
