Question: Does anyone know how to fix a broken harmonica!?
I'm a beginning harp player but i think i may have broken my harmonica!.!.!. when i try to breath in on the 3 it makes a sound like a trumpet out of tune!. but the weird part is that it sounds fine when you blow out of the same hole!.!.!.!.!.any ideas as to why!? or how to fix it!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

It sounds different on a blow vs!. a draw because there are two reeds for each hole (on most harps)!. You have most likely "overblown" the draw reed!. You can try removing the cover plate to make sure the reed isn't stuck!. If it is, you can GENTLY pry it loose!. Otherwise, your best bet is to get a new harp!. When you get a new harp, it is important to break it in slowly!. This "loosens" the reeds by stressing the metal slighlty so that they bend easily!. It helps them bend easier and helps to prevent the situation you are experiencing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
