Squier or Epiphone?!
Question: Squier or Epiphone!?
I'm looking to buy my first bass!. (I've been playing guitar for 5 years)!. I'm on a budget, so i need something under $300 dollars!. I know Squiers are just cheap Fenders, and Epiphones are just Cheap Gibsons, but which is better!?

Always go with Epiphone my man!. They are foreign made but they have very good quality and are very durable!. I have a few epiphone basses actually!. They all have kick *** tone to add to their characters!. Especially Thunderbirds!. Epiphone all the way!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I have an Ibanez bass, I got the beginner package for 350, but the amp is kinda crappy at high volumes, but it isn't meant for gigging!. The bass is fine, otherwise!. I would say that something like a Squier Jazz bass or Squier Precision Bass would be good aswell!. The P-Bass would have a thinner neck, hence the term "precision"!. Just go to your local music store and ask them to try out some of the basses!. I hear Squier also has released a Mustang or Bronco bass, I just have yet to see one!. They would be pretty cool as well!. I'm not saying Epiphones aren't good, I just haven't had experience with them!. I'm assuming that you are looking for a package with an amp and such, since plugging a bass into a regular guitar amp wouldn't be smart!. The Jazz and P-Bass come with an amp and the goods if you get the package!. Check out a couple places and buy what feels good!. I have a link for Guitar Center down below!. i personaly LOOOOOVE epihpones and gibsons, infact i have my own epiphone les paul guitar!. when it comes to guitars, you can't beat epiphones and gibsons!. but i have to admit, the basses that they make aren't that good!.
when it comes to basses, i highly reconment squire, fenders, OR yahmmaha!. yahmmaha is soooo underrated, they have terrific tone!. so do the squires and fenders!. but watch out, not all squires are that great, but the only squire that i think isn't that good is the bronco bass!.
you can definitely find a great yahmaha or squire bass under 300, probably not fender though!.

Epiphone is not just a cheap Gibson!. Ask anyone who knows and they will tell you that an Epiphone guitar is nearly as good as a Gibson, and for way less money!. And Epiphone is better than Squier by far!. Go with the Epiphone for sure!.

There is only one reason to ever buy a Squire guitar, and that is for smashing!. Epiphones are very good quality, not as good as a gibson, but they are still very good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
while Gibson/Epiphone rule the guitar world, I'd have to say that Fender/Squire make more remarkable basses
