Certainly an exaggeration, but surely he has at least laid the ground-work for many other riffs to be written from!.

He was implying that sabbath help generate the idea of the powerchord and since then most hard rock/ metal bands use that style in most songs!. Every rock band should credit sabbath for some kind of influence like sabbath credits blues for theres!. Its all a cycle that basically goes down the line to old blues songs which are totally METAL !!!!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I don't agree!. Yes Iommi is a riff master but there are so many chord variations!. Alot of songs may have been based off those riffs but it's impossible for it to be every riff!. Scott said that for flattery more than anything!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
