i can't speak for anyone but myself!. but when i write the story always comes first, then usually either the first verse or the title and i work from there!. music last because i don't play (i know, i'm weird)Www@Enter-QA@Com
Elton John has a guy named Bernie Taupin write the lyrics first then he (Elton) writes the music to fit the words!. I believe the words to a song are written similar to a poem!. Not sure how the others do it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
either people write their own songs, or they hire somebody to write their songs!. it doesn't matter what comes first!. it comes at the same time!. i wrote a song and as i was writing down the lyrics, the tune came to me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Either way!. You might think of some good lyrics and then add music to compliment the words OR you start with a good beat and then the words just come to you!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
