Can some folk just not sing at all?!
Question: Can some folk just not sing at all!?
I really need your opinion on this!.!.!.
I'm a female!. I play piano (learning on my own)!. I sing awfully, and I mean awfully!. I've been told by a lot of people that I have a girly voice and stuff!.
But I think, when it come to singing, I can't vibrate at all!. I don't do any vocal excercises either, to be honest!. I've never practiced, too embarrased infront of my very own self!.
I decided to take up lessons!. But then again, I'm not going to take it further as a profession!. It's just something I really want to learn, so I think!.!.!.should I do it on my own or pay for it!?
Sigh!. I think I'm hopeless!. I don't want to give up, though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Never, never, ever give up!.!.!.even more, never give up if it is something that calls inside of you, a voice that comes from your soul must never to be ignored!.!.!.certainly there are people with less facility to learn and find a more difficult way through things, but if it is a passion inside of you, you should never quit, because then you will be letting die something beautiful in your life, regardless of the activity!. Now, what you want to do is to find the closest music school in your area and go to the voice teachers in there, ask them about getting private voice lessons or to direct you to someone they know that can teach you at least the basics!. Singing is a long process and it can take many years to synchronize all the muscles involved in singing!. To put it on more simple words, singing is compared to a race car, where anybody with knowledge in driving cars could drive the race car around but not all the drivers will be able to RACE that car!.!.!.the voice is the same, the instrument is ready to be used, but not everybody knows how to use it the right way!. Consider also your age, if you are too young, give it time for your voice to settle down!. If you are old enough to where your voice has been developed, then now learn how to 'race' it correclty!.
Good luck and even if you do not consider a singing career but love to sing, do not give up that idea, work hard on it and you will see the good results down the road!.

Good for you on taking up piano! It's true!.!.!. some people just can't sing!. If you are willing to take time to PRACTICE you'll get better!. Go to a voice teacher!. You are obviously very influenced by music!. If you learn how to sing and PRACTICE singing, you may get somewhere! Mainly, PRACTICE!. If you want to learn to sing you really have to practice!.

I've been told 90% of singing coaches are scam artists who keep you coming back, promising big breakthroughs that somehow never quite appear!. But it might not hurt to take a few lessons!. You might learn what octave you should be singing in, which might not occur to you on your own because you can't really hear your own voice as clearly as someone else does!. Sometimes the style of song you're singing doesn't mesh with your voice either!.
For instance, my friend has a very theatrical singing voice, it's absolutely beautiful to hear when he's singing most show tunes!. He's also been trained as a theatrical singer!. Problem is, he likes Alanis Morisette and his voice and her style only make me giggle when he tries it!.
Why does EVERYONE think they need to vibrate their voices lately!?
Other than that, if singing makes you happy, but you're self-conscious about doing it, sing while you're alone!. Cars are great for that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
