Does the beat sound similar or is it just me?!
Question: Does the beat sound similar or is it just me!?
Earliar today people were commenting on Lil Jon being a repeat producer, meaning he usually takes the same beat and switches the pitch or tempo and sells it to the next guy!. Someone also commented on if sampling was considered an art form vs just crap talentless music!. The following tracks were produced by Eddie F within a 6 months-year of each other:
Ruff Endz - "No More" (2000)

Donnell Jones ft Left Eye - "U Know Whats Up" (1999)

My question is that though Lil Jon can get away with changing the pitch or whatever!.!.!.do you think that Eddie F pushed the limit a little bit!? Those beats seem a little too similar (note that both were huge hits, much like that of Usher's Yeah vs Petey Pablo's Freek A Leek or Baby Bash's Cyclone vs Lil Jon's Snap Ya Fingers)Www@Enter-QA@Com

some producers work on a formula!.!.!.!.eddie f's formula is that the former of these tunes made mad money and he musta thought 'it aint broke i aint gona fix it', and he made more money of a slightly modified beat!. good lookin outWww@Enter-QA@Com
I can see where you find a simularity between the two!. My personal thought is that they are somewhat different enough though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
