Wow!.!.!. thirty something answers, and only one or two aren't believers!. I'm somewhat shocked!. Not sure why!. Maybe everyone's too young to have had their crisis of faith yet!?
I don't know if I consider myself a "rock fan" since I really enjoy so many different types of music - punk, jazz, metal, choral, expirimental even some pop and country!. I like to think of myself as having "diversified interests"!.
One of those interests is religion!. I grew up Mormon, and investigating that belief and finding it false lead me to research other beliefs and branches of the christian religion!.
I find it incredible that if a supernatural agent created everything (a physical, tangible action) that we can find no tangible proof of its existence or any actions since!.
I have not yet found any evidence of the supernatural, a supernatural deity, a supernatural creator deity, or a supernatural creator deity who looks like us and cares enough about what we do (be gay!?) to send us to hell!. It's a daunting list of things that a believer must prove to me!.
So, no, I don't believe in god!. Any god!. I do my best to keep an open mind, but I see so many evil things done in the name of god that it makes it hard for me to give any creedence to those who preach in his name!.
As far as christians go!.!.!. it's like, christmas has nothing to do with Jesus or even christianity - it's a pagan holiday that was renamed by religious politicians sometime in the 400's CE!. Christians didn't start believing in hell as we know it until the early middle ages!. The gospel accounts are full of contradictions!. There is no physical evidence of Jesus, and no contemporary historian records any of the miracles he was supposed to have performed - there are no writings about Jesus until decades after his death!.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg!. So yeah, fascinating stuff, but belief!? Not so much!.

i can't really say!. i mean, im no satanist or anything but i find it soo hard to believe there's some guy in the clouds controlling things!. i think there HAS to be something bigger, but a lot of times i wonder if i just want there to be!. What do you mean "you rock fans"!? being a fan of a certain type of music has nothing to do with if you believe in god or not!.

No!. My household was never very religious and overtime the concept of god just started to seem more and more bogus to me and I really started questioning it!.
