Question: Trying to write a song!?
can some one help me out
i have the layout of the song now i just need to know what to write about
its going to be a pop rock song!.!.!.

this is what i do (hope it helps)
i think up a story!.!.!.for (a poor) example
im writing a song about a boy who starts
liking this (slutty) girl and he tells himself
its just a fling but he cant help but like her
even though he tries his hardest not
because everyone has had her!.
so its just kindof a torn song about a kid!.
then i start writing the story down (without ryhmning) and get as much as possible
then i go back and simplify it (trying to make things rhymn but not going out of my way for a rhymning word)
a good way to generate ideas is to
grab a book or newspaper and search for
phrases or cool words and just pick one
i did it just now and found one "what a world"
(your free to use it if you like) use the phrase you find to generate ideas to what its about!.
or you could always right about ditching school!.

first off what do YOU want to write about love,world issues,family!.!.!.etc but it has to be something you have experience with otherwise its not from the heart and not as meaningful then put yourself back into that situation or those feelings and write out everything to do with it out describe how you felt what happened write it like a story but do it to the same tune and notes as your layout and make sure at least some parts of it rhyme otherwise its not as good but still sounds ok people generally write about love and relationships coz most peole can relate but really its whatever you want :) good luckWww@Enter-QA@Com
Brainstorm ideas, randomly throw sentences around on a big sheet of paper and then begin to join them!. write about experiences/things you've seen/done
also, as long as it is played well and is catchy and likeable, the lyrics aren't THAT important!.

sometimes the best thing to do is to just not think about it!. just let the lyrics sort of come to you!.
I have found in my own personal experience that the best time to write is when you feel a very strong and specific emotion!. as you are feeling that, write down what it is about and then use that later for a song!.
