Question: I've had my lespaul for a while but just got an SG and need help deciding on a new amp :)!?
i already have a nice amp for my band but i keep at one of my band members house's!. i'm choosing between a few choices :
marshall MG100HP/MG412 half stack w/ digital effects, line 6 spider valve 112 40w guitar combo amp, and a line 6 spider jam 75w 1X12 guitar combo amp!.
which would be your best choice, or any other suggestions !?
i like to play a lot of classic rock and heavy metal, so distortion IS key !Www@Enter-QA@Com

i agree with both of them line 6 sound thin an processed while marshalls announce the presence nicely, im not real thrilled with dsp effects and i personally would advise to stay clear of them this is just my opinion but i have yet to find a built in effect that was at least half as decent as a rough tube tone i prefer rectified sounds but if a mesa boogie 3x rectifier is out of the price range stick with a marshallWww@Enter-QA@Com
marshalls are perfect in every way i can imagine!. line 6s sound really cheap at times and dont give off that natural sound!. I have used several amps in my time and my marshall is still my favWww@Enter-QA@Com
