i want to write songs but i never get anything good written down!.!.!.!.!. what are some good ways of thinking and actualy trying to write a song!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. any ideas!.!.!. ohh yeah and i want to make it a country song!.!.!. but i just cant think of anything good!.!.!.!.!. if you have any ideas then let me know, what are some good ways to get inspired!?!? i listen to other songs but nothing comes to my mind well thats good anyway

I'm exactly like you, singing in the shower lol!. Take your inspiration from your surroundings!. If you live in a city, go to the local park!. If you live in the country, just go out your front door!. Most famous musicians get their inspiration from their surroundings!. The beauty or a running river or the sound of the wind whistling in the tree's!.
If you want to listen to a good country singer then go to the local libary and see if they have one of Kasey Chambers cds!.

or just write a basic poem then build it up!.

Try either writing words without a melody, or a melody without words and then add the words/melody afterwards!. Do whichever comes more naturally to you!. Try writing about something you've experienced, because it will seem a lot more real, both to you and to listeners!. I hope you do well and I'd love to hear your music if you do write any songs!

hey i write songs ALOT and what i do is wait till im REALLY emotional!. Sad, happy, mad etc!. DONT listen to other songs cuz that will just make you think of THAT song!. and That beat!. so next time ur sad or mad just start singing and when a cool beat and the right words come, write em down!!!
