I really hate Genre labelling!.

I have seen them listed as NuMetal (ok!.!.!.yes they used some sampling in their original stuff!.!.!.and!?)
Alt Metal (closer!.!.I guess) and Even Core!.!.!.!. (not even close)
Is it just cause they dare to be a bunch of Chicks that don't play Power Metal!? (I know a lot ogf guys can't handle women in metal!.!.!.)
What "Genre" would you label them as!?

I agree with both Man in The Box and Rocco they did peak in around the time Numetal was popular in the early 00's, I would just label them alternative metal, it pisses me off that Sevendust is labeled Numetal as well they sound nothing like Korn or Limp Bizkit!. Favorite Kittie song is Spit!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
They're probobly listed as nu-metal because they've been around in the nu-metal time and they're a metal band!. Same has happened with Disturbed, Black Tide, Wolfmother, The Sword, and Queens of the Stone Age!.
I'd call them power metal, from what I've heard!.
Can't say I have a favorite song!. Haven't really listened to them, except for snipets of songs!.

I'd say Nu-Metal too!. I'm not all that familiar with Kittie!. I knew a couple ov guys a few years ago that were into Nu-Metal (Korn, Slipknot and the like) and just so happened to like Kittie too!. I haven't heard enough to label them as Nu-Metal or anything else, but with the coincidence ov them being favored upon by "Nu-Metalist", well, I'd guess they just fit in!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
