Question: What is your opinion on the Bruce Dickinson / Sharon Osborn dispute 2005!?
So when Iron Maiden was touring with Ozzy back in 2005 bruce was on stage talking smack about ozzy, pretty bad things!. so Sharon set up the audience with eggs and they all through them at bruce, then Sharon pulled the power plug during the show, then she went on a rant on stage calling bruce “pr-ick” and all kinds of other stuff!.

I think that really Bruce shouldn't have been saying things about Ozzy especially since Ozzy was taking him on tour!. But then again there was definitely a better way for Sharon to handle things!. All in all I think that they all acted very childish and immature and it wasn't fair for the fans for the show to be ruined like that!. I love both Ozzy and Maiden but still!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I like Sharon Osbourne and if it wasn't for her my friend you would have no OZZY OSBOURNE today she took him from the gutters from drug abuse, he'd be dead by now,so Thank god for Sharon her father was a big Music Mogul and he told her to dump the lousy bum, but she hung in there and the rest is historyWww@Enter-QA@Com
I remember reading about this on Blabbermouth!.Net, even if Bruce Dickinson said those things about Ozzy, Sharon shouldn't have done that that to them, it's f'ed up!. I'll give Iron Maiden a lot of credit because from what I read they were pelted pretty good with eggs and yet they still performed for the fans there now that's metal!. \m/Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hmmm, didn't think this would still be a topic of discussion 3 yrs later!.!.!.
I gave (and still give) Dickinson some credit for having the balls to do that, HOWEVER, the Osbournes controlled his meal ticket in addition to Maiden's 'set time' on the tour, so at the same time I still think that was a stupid move!. It would be one thing to bash another band that was on the tour, but the host act!? Not the most intelligent move in the book!.
As for Mrs!. Osbourne: I know she was trying to make a point and show that she's no b*tch to mess with, but the eggs to me were never a good idea!. Maybe "very rock and roll" in some circles, but "stupid, childish, and pointless" in mine!. Could've come up with something better!. Pulling the plug got her point across much more harshly!. I still don't think after what happened Iron Maiden deserved to have their set(s) cut short (if I remember she did it more than once after the incident), but as I said, it was stupid to piss on (and piss off!) those who wrote their paycheck!.
