Question: Why can't singers (Particularly rap artists, if you even call that art) stand still while they perform!?
Just a fun question to see what kind of answers are out there!.
Ever notice that singers can never seem to stand still!? They've always got to move their hands and arms up and down at some point during their performance!.
I know "rap artists" is an oxy moron, (UH OH!) but have you ever seen one perform while standing perfectly still!? Is it a requirement for performers to fling their arms around like they are having spasms of some sort!?

They're supposed to move, otherwise the song would be really boring!. Imagine the singer and all the dancers just standing there while singing, you'd probably rather see them moving around!. And sometimes they just get into their song lol!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Stage performance is what draws your fans back!. If you stand still you'll be a boring *****!. If an artist i enjoy puts on a terrible show, i lose aloty of respect for them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Rap artist may be an oxymoron; HIP HOP artist is a true art!. I'm a song writer about real life explained through Hip Hop lyrics and if you knew what the feeling was like to perform something that is true to heart, you'd understand why we "fling our arms like we're having spasms of some sort"!. When you perform, the energy level is so high that you can't stand still, if an artist was to stand still during a performance how would you ever get the crow enthralled into what your doing!? How would you ever fulfill your role as an entertainer and live up to the money spent to see you perform!? You wouldn't be able to!. Any artist that stands still during a performance does not truly feel the music they are putting out!. Look back into the early years of medieval times when plays and musicals were performed for people sitting in arena like seating!. Those artists were moving all over the stage as well!. This is something that is done to enthrall an audience and fulfill what we are passionate about; HIP HOP MUSIC!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Becauseif you've ever actually sung infront of a crowd the passion of the music is amazingly strong and kepping your body up to beat with the music is very important!.
