All of them are good bands!. Out of the six, I tend to favor Def Leppard, Van Halen (with David Lee Roth), and Aerosmith!. If I had to pick one, I'd go for Def Leppard too!. I think they are currently under-rated!.

4) Motley Crue
5) Bon Jovi
6) Aerosmith
I ranked Def leppard high even tho my best friend a huge metal buff who loves 'maiden always disses them and makes fun of me for liking them; idk i've always really liked them!. I've also liked Van Halen and I love "Jump"!. I don't like Motley Crue as much as other ppl, but "Kickstart my Heart" is a great song; I'd prolly like Bon Jovi more if he was more hardcore and not as hold but he has some great songs as well!. Personally, i've always felt aerosmith is the most overrated band ever!.!.!.they're my leqaast favorite fot he hard rock bands from the 80's but that's just my opinion!. Wow - hard one! I am a huge fan of OLD VH, Crue, and Aerosmith!. I do enjoy OLD Def Leppard!. GNR and Bon Jovi are good too, but not top on my list!. OK here goes nothin!.!.!.!.

All of these are great bands!. Aerosmith is probably my least favorite band!. I would have to say Van halen is my favorite and Motley is my second!. O wow I love them all but it would have to be Def Leppard becasuse of the Drummer having one arm!. You have to be way talented to do something like that!.
