But I'd say lyrical content!.!.!.I was listening to Pharoahe Monch today and his lyrical skills and content are awesome, but the beats he has are really just average!.
Rap music now is 100% beats 0% lyrical content!.!.!.just look at how much these producers charge and how much resources they have, whereas the artists come out with a bunch of junk!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think the content of the lyrics is what matters the most!.
if a rap song has a good beat and the lyrics are wack, then that song will not get my vote in anything!. i am captivated by the message of the song esp if it's something positive!. i am a fan of scarface/nas/tupac/eve/etc!. and i always listen to the words and then i rock to the beat!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Depends on your personality!. Some people get immersed in good lyrics while others mainly just want something to dance to!. You won't find me doing the soulja boy but I can spend hours listening to Lupe Fiasco and his lyrical prowess!. For me it's lyrics hands down!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
