im writing a song afor my band and i want the song to be like crazy like the song "shake it " by metro station but i dont know what to base the song on i need helpWww@Enter-QA@Com

I don't know what to say!. I mean I like that song too, but I don't know what you could write you song about!. Usually peoples song are about things that happen in their life!. So just look around you and think!. You can come up with anything you want!. Just sometimes it takes a little Wile!. But you can do it!. Every time you get an idea!. Jot it down!. Ideas are the way everything works!. You have an idea then you try it sometimes it doesn't work but sometimes it does!. Just keep on trying and you will get your idea for your song!.'

music is an artform, it doesnt have to be based on anything if you dont want it to be, if you have the music written and just want lyrics try improvising based on things you feel and see and then write them down!. Then if you revisit them later you can shape them into something more meaningful and a messege or theme may make itself apparent to you!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

What I do to write lyrics is keep a diary!. I usually write in it when I get home from school, because thats when i have alot of stuff on my mind!. It's never anything poetic, or deep, but even after a few days you can start to see patterns of phrases you seem to write alot!. and voila- thats usually what my songs end up about!!!

I am visualizing a tramatic song about a leader of a 'nude' gay pride parade!. As the mass' gather , and the cool breeze blows, the leader has obvious male shrinkage!.!.!.!.drum roll!. But the parade must go on!!! Then as he lifts his 'huge' rainbow flag!.!.!.!.!. he has a massive gas attack!.!. wooooo I can almost smell it!.
