Well!. Uh it's obvious this is a bashing question so let me explain!. The band Death is my favourite band from the genre!. Their lyrics are intellectual and they hardly ever wrote about gore!. Now I admit I dislike DM bands who just write about gore and nothing else!. I like Gothenburg metal or Melodic death metal as we like to call it!. The lyrical content is hardly ever gorey and the guitar work is very technical!.

The brutallity and intensity of the music, as well as the talent needed in order to play Death Metal!.
I also like that DM can be progressive, technical, symphonic, melodic, etc!. That it is not confined to one certain sound or a predetermined group of instruments either!. (ie!. not just guitars, bass, drums)Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's an amazing integration of thought and brutality!.
For those who overcome their initial prejudices, and actually LISTEN to it!.!.they find an amazing degree of precision and melody!.
It is true, many bands do leave something to be desired vocally, but there are exceptions to that rule, and the best of the bands, the anger in the vocals add to the music!. Admittedly, I prefer to hear Growls mixed with clean vocals, but it isn't always necessary!.
(and!.!.!.like some others!.!.I find some Brutal Death metal to be pointless!.!.!. but that's MY tastes!.!.!. I don't suffer from P*nis envy!.!.!.so I don't feel the need to belittle other people's music to make me feel secure about my own preferences!. So!.!.!. I let people listen to what they like!.!.if I don't care for it!.!.I will say so!.!. but don't need to resort to insulting to make myself feel better!.)
Now since!.!.!.judging by your other Q's you are just looking for opportunities to bash!.!.!. I really don't feel the need to elaborate!.
Suffice it to say, as a classically trained Musician (Cello along with Bass), i enjoy the complexity of the music, and find Melodic Death Metal, and Symphonic Metal that combines Death elements to be stimulating, challenging and AMAZING!.
Something that the cookie cutter masses will simply never understand!. So!.!.!. go enjoy the Mainstream drek the media tells you to like!.!.!. and!.!.I'll continue to enjoy REAL music!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

im not a huge fan of death metal!.!.!.!.!.i like hair metal and some other stuff!.!.!.!.like pantera!.!.and metallica!.!.!.!.but i do love the guitar in death metal!.!.!.since im a guitar player myself!.!.!.and also death metal is great to work out to!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
