Question: Is there ever a chance of me being a professional songwriter/musician!?
I am working so hard to get a job as a songwriter or performing musician and it is really taking it's toll now!. i started 7 years ago when i was at school and have played many gigs, cut demo's, session work and even been on the radio but despite all these things i just end up back at square one, with no interest or agent!. Since an early age i have had a passion for recording and performing onstage and have always wanted to make a career of it, but now all it seesms to do is make me depressed because it seems all the work i do towards it is in vain!. What then should i consider!? Should i quit this dream and set my determination on something else or is persaverence the key!? Please help!Www@Enter-QA@Com

7 years is a long old time think of it! If you give up tomorrow in 2 years time that means you could of been 9 years in total better, and because you were away from it for 2 years you could of missed on your big chance!.
Saying in my studio is! its never to risky to take the risk, if you dont take that risk! then you allready lost!.
Be around people who do things, become inspired by others, where u from!? by all means get in touch i run a recording studio and would like to chat!.!.

If it is your dream and your passion then you were born to do it!. Never give up but do explore other options that will allow you to do what you love but is not banking on stardom instantly!. Perhaps your dream will take another shape or form!. Think perhaps about industries that relies on musicians as part of it's production!.

I quit once!. Didn't play for 2 years!. It was one of the worst moments in my life, so I started to pick it up again!. Now I'm back to square one and vowed to never quit again!.
I'm broke as ever, but somehow I feel more content now!.
Life is hard!. Accept it and work harder!.

i know exactly what you mean!. I have been trying for 3 years now!. I have been through 6 bands and 2 solo attempts but everytime i end up back at the beginning!. You need to remember that dreams are what make people individuals and never give up!. You havent failed at all, you've just found the ways not to make it!. Keep trying and someday you will make it!. Show the world who you really are and that you deserve it!. Maybe even audition for American Idol!. at least people would see that you deserve it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes, of course!. Maybe you are just not unique enough!. Maybe try something new!. If you don't have a myspace then perhaps you should consider creating one and posting your music!. A lot of present musicians have gotten record deals through myspace!. Or try www!.purevolume!.com!. It's a site for indie bands to post their music and stuff!.

There's always the chance!. Don't give up on your dream, but don't let other opportunities go by the wayside either!. You may want to think about going to music school, like Berklee, where you can make professional contacts and hone your skills!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
