Question: Can listening to other types of music, inspire me to write hip-hop lyrics!?
my first 16 bars were written to a dance track, now that im fully into hip hop, im lacking ideas and thinking about becoming a technohead again, would that inspire me to write lyrics like it did once!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

All, or I should say most, effective writing comes from the heart whether that be in books, song, poetry or whatever!. Other reading (or listening) is sometimes helpful in developing style or structure!. If you go looking for ideas, the substance of what you write may likely be hollow!.
