Question: Who remembers, knows German singer NINA HAGEN!?
What do you think about her amazing vocal performance in this song!? She was a true punk rocker and an eccentric singer; I have never encountered a singer who could pull of stuff like this and get away with it!. It gives me goosebumps!

I've been a fan for years!.!.!.she has a remarkable voice!.
My favorite albums by Nina as a solo performer are her first three released in the early 1980's; 'Nunsexmonkrock', 'Angstlos', and 'In Ekstase'!.
I loved her cover version of Norman Greenbaum's 'Spirit in the Sky' from the later!.
'Revolution Ballroom' and 'Freud Euch' were two albums she released in the mid 90's that are worth checking out as well!.
Her 2003 album 'Big Band Explosion' was also great, with 'Fever' and 'Sugar Blues' being my favorites from that album!.
During the early 90's she got together with a group of well known German musicians, one of them being Udo Lindenberg who in the 70's was known for lending his drumming skills to Krautrock bands like, Emergency, Passport, Niagra, and Free Orbit before going off on his own as a solo artist!. This short lived 90's aggregation was known simply as 'Nina Hagen / Udo Lindenberg / Ron Williams / Uwe Ochsenknecht'!. They released album titled 'Hair' in which they covered the entire classic Broadway soundtrack album of the same name that was originally released in 1968!. Nina and the gang did some very cool renditions of classics like Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In, Good Morning Starshine, and Easy to be Hard!.!.!.of course with a more 90's Nina approach!.
Oh, and I still have two 45 singles form the early 1970's when she was fronting the German band 'Automobil'!. They had a semi hit with 'Du hast den Farbfilm vergessen' in 1974!. Very cool stuff as well, and much different from her 80's/90's solo material!.
*Edit - Professor Anger!.!.!.'99 Luftballons' was not by Nina Hagen!.!.!.but rather 'Nena'!.!.!.two entirely different people!. Note the spelling difference!.
It's easy to see why many confuse the two, especially since 'Nena' was born in 'Hagen' Germany! lol
