Question: Question on the shelved "SMiLE" album by the Beach Boys!?
first off, i wish smile was released back in the day, i mean brian had his voice, crew, he was at his creative peak, etc!.!.!.but i guess i could try out the one he relesed in 2004!.!.!.is that album any good!?
plus:
1) what do you think was the original tracklisting, because i downloaded a bootleg with 30 songs, but im not sure if that was the original SMiLE album for release
2) ive only heard pet sounds and that smile bootleg!.!.!.and pet sounds is my favorite album of ALL TIME!! brian wilson is a genious,!.!.what other albums from the beachboys compares to pet sounds!?!? and plz dont just give me a long list of all ur favorites (unless theyre really that great)!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Not the most appealing name you have yourself but the answer to your question is yes!
The new 'Smile' is beautiful (I wouldn't say cool)!. The band he has are skilled and enthusiastic which is more than any Mike Love could ever muster!.
I recommend it!. I mean I don't know you!. I can't say to you that it will be the best album you have ever bought but get it anyway!. You can't live your life questioning Brian!! Sure question !.!.!.I dunno!.!.!.Mick Jagger but Brian! NO!
also, my guess is the original had an intention of track listing but maybe Brian was discouraged too much to get to that point!.
Pet Sounds!? Yes!. Gold mate!. In fact I would say that Pet Sounds may be better than Smile but more mellow!. Smile is his experiment, definitely!.

I haven't listened to that particular album (2004 release) but the reviews I've heard on it are generally positive!. Most of the reviewers said they wished that he had released it much earlier because his voice sounded better back then!.
I have parts of the album on a box set I got in 1993 called "Good Vibrations"!. The songs include "Heroes & Villains", "Cabin Essence", and "Surf's Up"!. I wish more could have been included because I didn't really think these were truly representative of what was to be on this album if it had been finished!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
