i guess it means that he did something to his girlfriend and hurt her really badly!. in my opinion the fact that he hurt his special someone is the fall and his regret is the fracture!. the part about the money is mainly that without her he realizes tat money is no good if you don't use it in a good way (like in stripclubs, gambling, drugs, etc!.) the part about hot and cold is that the world is cold and the love's warmth shelters him from the cold!. he is the sink that leaks which is kind of a metaphor because a sink doesn't work if it leaks, but its fixable!. the part abouts it takes two and it used to take one is that now that knows what love is, he can't go back to being one!.
