Painting a guitar????!
Question: Painting a guitar!?!?!?!?
i want to paint my acoustic guitar with a paint marker and spray paint, i was wondering if this would totally ruin the sound!.
if it effects the tone at all please tell me how much!.
and please no one just guessing, only if you know from expirience!.

be careful of what type of wood your acoustic is!. cedar is very porous!. my ibanez is ash and i wouldn't touch it becuz i wouldn't want to hinder the sound
