Question: Is too much swearing in a song a turn off!?!?
Okay so personally I'm not too crazy for those songs that constantly say bad words every 5 seconds!.!.!.!.And as a girl!. I obviously don't like songs that talk badly about women!.

It can be!.!.!.although, most of the time, I don't even notice the swearing!. However, if I ever do stop paying attention to the song to say to myself "damn, this song has a lot of cursing it in," than obviously the song really isn't that good, and the swearing further detracts from its appeal!.
I'm ok with the swearing!.!.!.but if I'm listening to a good song, and I realize that the song has little to no swearing, than imo it's an even better song!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeah, because I think lyrics should actually express something profound or meaningful!. Otherwise, who the hell cares what they have to say!? If it is to express anger, then they are just perpetuating that negativity!. I can understand using an expletive here or there to emphasize the point, but when that's all the song is about, it's kind of sickening!. Well, music differs to different people, and everyone has a different opinion, but i can see where you're coming from!. I think if a song has a lot that is not needed, than yes, and the whole degrading women thing, that is also an opinionated thing, that varies, but i get sick of it too, but most of the artists i listen to don't do that too much!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
yes!! it takes away from the song!. you don't have to curse!. There is a really good rapper named-Murs and one of his albums he does not use any curse words in the whole album & it is really good!! We can listen to that music with our 7 year old daughter in the carWww@Enter-QA@Com
idk, the only time it really bothers me is when the song gets edited!. You're trying to hear what the artist is trying to say and all you hear is a beep!. It takes away from the lyrics, to the point where you can only focus on the *beep*!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

definently!.!. not only is it a turn off, but in my opinion those who use curse words are really people with poor communication skills, and they have no other way to communicate with others! w/o sayin f*** this and that! very sad!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

yeah!.!.!.i don't listen to it, but i heard a 3-6 mafia cd!.!.!.listen to one of their cd's and in 12 songs theres at least 400 curses or more!.!.!.i hate itWww@Enter-QA@Com
