Guitar sound effect help.?!


Question: Guitar sound effect help!.!?
I heard Hendrix do some sort of thing with his Guitar that after he played a chord, the chord would sustain for a little bit, then slowly it would turn in to a siren like sound, how does he do that!?!!?

Any help will bbe much appreciated

It was just feedback from his amps!. The amps were "over-driven" and it made it easy to get a lot of feedback between the guitar & amp!. The feedback can be changed in several ways and giving off different sounds!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yeah!. Probably a chord strike , then THAT would feedback into a single note or two, possibly manipulated by shaking and pushing the Tremolo (Whammy) bar, to get the "Siren" effect!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Right on Ellwood, He didnt use much, mostly the wah floored to the max to get the screams from it!. Just cranked up Marshalls and a whole bunch of talent!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
