Question: How Many Members Should My Band Have, 3 or 4!?
I have a band of a Vocalist/Guitarist, Bassist, Drummer, but we could have another guitarist!. What should I do!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

You shouldn't add someone just because you CAN!. The real question is:
What does he/she add to the group!? If they are a solid musician and it's going to add a new element to your sound, then it's a good thing to add them!. If they are a good songwriter, that's always a plus too!. Very few of the best bands ever had only one songwriter!. The classic bands usually have 2-3 people that can turn out a good tune!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Depends if you're gigging - if you are a studio band i say get the other guitarist - if you are gigging i say stick with the 3 - you'll only be splitting your wages 3 ways not 4 then!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I say 4 thats the number my band has!. 3 guys and 1 girl!. It makes for a good work enviroment becuase with both aspects tossed in together you can write songs that appeal to both sexs more!. Then again I could be wrong!. Plus 2 guitarists just make a band even cooler!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well most 3 piece bands end up adding a second guitarist down the road!. Nirvana had Pat Smear, Green Day has that one dude!. So go ahead and just add him in now!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
