Question: Is it morally okay to use free websites to download music!?
i've just downloaded frostwire and got one song but i'm just wondering if its morally okay!. like what do you guys think!. do you have a problem with it or is it just wrong!. i guess i'm feeling guilty!.
but i really don't feel bad about downloading the 1 song i got called "no roads left" by linkin park because i couldn't find it any were and its not on itunes so i was desperate!. but for other songs i just don't knowWww@Enter-QA@Com

The music I listen to is mostly by bands that tour in busted up vans and use every last penny to help them tour!. I buy their music because I feel bad stealing from someone who is working so hard to get their music out there!.
The only time I download anything for free is when the album is out of print or nowhere to be found!.
And downloading a free song from a popular and established band isn't as bad, but I still like to support the bands I listen to!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's morally ok, as long as you're taking the music from artists who don't need the money!. For instance, you downloaded an LP song, they're one of the highest earning bands of all time!. However, if you illegally downloaded music from a local punk rock band who barely makes enough to eat, than that would be somewhat immoral!. However, no matter how much money they make, it is illegal!. However, i don't care about this aspect, and neither should you!. Music is art, art should be free!.

I always feel really bad doing it!. To make me feel better about it, I use a site called ZamZar!. Basically, if you can find it on YouTube, you've got the song!. It's an online file conversion site!. I really like it!.
I usually only use it when I can't find it on iTunes and my friends don't have copies of it!.
My friends are my main source of music, though!. Especially since none of them feel bad about illegally downloading!. :DWww@Enter-QA@Com

I don't feel bad >=\ they're supposed to like their careers for the music not the money!. BUT, some bands don't like it because they don't make a profit so they can't afford to go on tour so yah it goes either way I guess =P

No, but I do it anyway, and I don't really feel guilty!. The sheer monetary investment that would be required for me to have all the songs that I have would be over $1,400!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
of course its illegal cuz ur taking it w/o permission, but i dont care anymore it's available so why not take it!. If a flat screen tv is lying on the street would u take it!? =)
