Fade to Black!. It's one of those immediately recognizeable classic songs!. Cemetary Gates is great but it doesn't have that same soul and feeling as Fade to Black!.
It might be the most perfect song Metallica released (right behind Damage Inc!.)
Kirk is a better shredder!. He's much cleaner and technical, something I really appreciate in a guitarist!. Kirk's my guy until the day I die!.
Vinnie or Lars!.!.!.After all the Pantera I've listened to in my life, never once did I think much of the drumming!. I think that's a sign!.
Lars isn't the greatest or anything, but at least you can hear him and he does have those moments that make you stop and just say "Shiiiiiiii*t son"!.

Cemetary Gates!.!.!.the fade at the end of both songs is killer, but Phil and Dime's tradeoffs in the fadeout rules it (gaaaates!.!.!.!.**guitar squeal with whammy bar lifted waaay up**)!.!.!.not to mention it has a superior riff

Fade To Black - by a hair, mainly because the guitar solo in the intro is one of the best ever! Plus the operatic vocal part in Cemetary Gates always kinda bothered me and sounded kinda cheesy!. I would say that Cemetary Gates has the better solo at the end though!.!.!.both are amazing songs!.!.!.
