Who is the Loudest Rock Band in the World?!

Question: Who is the Loudest Rock Band in the World!?
Answers:
MotorheadWww@Enter-QA@Com

The Heavy Metal band Manowar is one claimant of the title of "loudest band in the world", citing a measurement of 129!.5 decibels in 1994 in Hanover!. The Guinness Book of World Records once listed it as the record holder for the loudest musical performance for an earlier performance in 1984!. However, Guinness does not recognize Manowar's later claim, because it no longer includes a category of loudest band, reportedly because it does not want to encourage ear damage

The Who were the last band listed as the record holder, at 126 decibelsWww@Enter-QA@Com

If you saw This Is Spinal Tap their amps went up to number 11, "one louder" than anyone elses, Lol!.

The Who were the last band listed as the record holder, at 126 decibels, measured at a distance of 32 metres from the speakers at a concert at Charlton Athletic Football Ground on 1976-05-31!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Loud can mean different things, but I can tell you that of all the shows I've seen my ears have never even come close to ringing like they did after I saw Sonic Youth play on the record A Thousand Leaves!. I play in bands so my ears aren't quite as sensitive as the ears of many people (in a bad way, I'll probably need a hearing aid someday) because of having my head in a guitar amp for about 10 years, and after that show my ears rang for three days!. You'd think that it would mean that the show didn't sound good!. Usually when something is that loud the frequencies get all jumbled and mashed, but the show sounded great!. Those guys are truly masters of noise!. Really intense, awesome music experience!.
