Question: Is this a normal thing when playing guitar!?
So I’ve been playing for 6 or 7 months now and I’m not an exceptional player, but I do enjoy it!. If the teachers asks me to play on my own and there is no one to guide me and I’m supposed to keep count of the rhythm/beat of the song, and there is no other sound around, I start to hear the music in my head and then I’m not counting but listening to the song in my head and then changing when the song changes!. Is it like that for everybody!? Why does this happen!?

You should 'feel' the beat without conciously counting it!. I'm sure you don't count '1,2,3,4 etc when you are dancing!. It's the same thing when playing guitar except your hands are doing the dancing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
