The iconic Irish vocalist seems to have become a very divisive figure in many circles: brilliant artist and humanitarian or hypocritical blowhard with a savior complex!. Where do you stand!? What are your thoughts on the 21st century Bono!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Bono is a bozo - but he means well!. Give him a break!. He's just using his celebrity to bring attention to causes that he believes in!. Whether you agree with his cause or not, his intentions are good!.

I vote for the blowhard/savior complex combo!. Bono seems to me to be very full of himself and completely out of touch with what it really means to be a rock star!. He seems to have abandoned the pursuit of making great music for loftier ideas like saving the world, one cause at a time!. Not that it's a bad thing to want to change the world, but he sometimes seems to be doing it for the wrong reasons- to be trendy or appear saint-like, rather than just to lend a helping hand!. I love and respect just about everything about Bono!. As an artist U2 is the biggest band in the world over the past 25 years!. They are so popular globally that I think that it is exceptional that he uses his fame, wealth, and platform to try to aid people in need around the globe!. It is certainly better than showing up on MTV Cribs with a refrigerator full of Kristal and 12 cars that you can not legally drive!. Sure he has a huge ego!.!.!. check out the U23D Imax film and you would understand just why he comes off all full of himself!. The world needs more Bono's!.!.!. For all his stardom he fronts a band that is basically a Christian Rock Band and he has been with his wife throughout it all!. Thank goodness he is not on VH1 looking for a date!.
