Does anyone have an idea for a Bach Prelude?!
Question: Does anyone have an idea for a Bach Prelude!?
Does anyone have any ideas for a simple Bach Prelude that I could play for church!? (I'm just learning how to play the organ!. I could play an invention, but I'm wanting to keep it simple for now!.)Www@Enter-QA@Com
Answers:
Other than the obvious answer,
No 3 from the WTC I (C#)
No 22!? WTC I (Bbm)
No 23!? WTC I (B)
No 1 WTC II (C)
No 10 WTC II (Fm)
You would find that some inventions are actually much easier than the preludes!. For example:
No 12!? (A)
No 13 (Am) everybody has played this
No 14 (Bb) probably the easiestWww@Enter-QA@Com

You can't go wrong with the first prelude in C from volume one of the Well-Tempered Clavier!. That would sound great on the organ and it's not too challenging for you starting out on the instrument!. I'm also a big fan of the B-flat major prelude from the same volume, but that's a little bit trickier!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Why not start at the beginning!? Prelude #1 from the Well-Tempered Klavier, or Little Prelude #1 (from BWV 553)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
