Grime isnt Hip Hop, its Grime, you can also find plenty of UK hip hop artist like Roots Manuva, Skinny Man, Klashnekoff, Mike GLC!.!.!.!.!.the problem is - as with hip hop - once people see what formula sells cd's or gets their video on Channel U they repeat the same shlt over and over and it seems to get worse and worse every time it is reproduced!.
I would say most Grime music doesnt have the same lyrical depth as hip hop but I do like some Grime music:
