Question: What's the difference between Rap and Hip-Hop!?

well theres a difference, and then theres not a difference, know what im sayin!. hip-hop and rap arent really different, but it is the quality of the music that is produced!. to me, hip-hop and rap are really different!.
rap nowadays is what you hear today: money, cash, jewelry, **** bitches get money, how hard they are, threatening to shoot you with their desert eagle or street sweeper, gangstafied, drug dealing/pushin,hustlin, or a crank dat dance!. i dont consider this music because sayin this stuff on the radio is gettin old, and its meaning is pointless!. bad influence on little kids too!.
hip-hop on the other hand has way more variety in it, and they dont talk much about the stuff that rappers do!. most of the things they talk about have meaning and rhythm!. hip-hop is basically underground now, and its hard to find a new artist who speaks the truth!.
in short, hip-hop is the life, not the music!. hip-hop can be rap, but rap can't be hip-hop!.
