Question: Bass Guitar Question!?
I don't play bass guitar, nor know anything about them!. My brother does though, and plays really well!. For his birthday, I wanted to get him a new one since his current one is old which he bought at a garage sale!.
I just wanted to know some recommendations for a good bass guitar that I can buy him!. also, if you know any places where I can get it would be helpful too!. It doesn't matter if I have to buy it at a store or order it online, I just need to know where to get it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

craigslist!.org is a good place to look for used equipment!. It mostly depends on the style of music and skill level!. As far as brands go it all depends on how much you want to spend!. You do get what you pay for!. On the lower end, Yamaha, Peavey,(allot will disagree with the Peavey but after messing around with one my mind has changed), Ibanez, and ESP's!. (I prefer Yamaha or ESP for the low end price range)!. Schecter is more of a disposable instrument but allot of em' have great tone!. Try to veer away from the Fender Squire, and the Gibson Epiphone!. Not that they're junk it's just that they have so many foreign factories it really makes it hard to determine what is Quality inside and out!. Towards the top end, Rickenbacker, Pedulla (that's what i play), or Ambelic (What I want) !. Plus a ton of other brands that rock!. Every player has their own opinion on what is the best bass!. It all comes down to for me is it comfortable in my hands and do I like the look, and most important the tone!. As a gift, a low to mid range priced bass would be best till he knows what that prefect axe for him is!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
my motto is"try before you buy",go round music stores,even some 2nd hand stores,dont knock 2nd hand goods,you can sometimes get a nice bargain!i would recomend fender,i play a fender and i think its one of the trusted makes(i have had 2 fender basses)ask for a demnstration at store(you say you dont play)most staff in music stores worth their salt will happily explain stuff to you,i dunno about online,i always liek to see and hear what im buying! good luck with your searchWww@Enter-QA@Com

Guitar Center or Sam Ash are the big stores!. I'd go and talk to someone at the store!. Some times they have good deals going on!. Fender is a fairly good guitar!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
