Question: What are some of the Beatles references in Panic at the Disco's Pretty!.Odd!?
In most reviews, critics mention that there are many, and that Panic copied alot of their stuff and call me stupid, but i havent listened to much of the Beatles stuff so i dontknow the references, can anyone help me out!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I believe critics are comparing the album to the Beatles more in terms of general sound than specific references!. Studio-recorded baroque pop with heavy psychedelic elements!. The album is very much an emo Sgt!. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (*shiver*)!.
One obvious connection I note: the opening of their new album, "We're So Starving," is very similar to the opening of the Beatles' Sgt Pepper!. Both are stylized conversations between The Band and The Audience, as if the album is a live recording!.

I don't think there are any Beatles references in specific!. I think that critics were just using that band's sound as a reference point for people to think back to!.
In interviews they've said a few times that they were listening to bands like the Beatles and the Beach Boys during the writing process so that sound came across in their music!.
