Alice Cooper and KISS!? They kinda invented the look!. And bands like GWAR do it completely for shites and giggles!.
BUT!.!.!.this whole Corpse Paint thing in Black Metal is so freaking Cliche!.

ChAPTER 1: hOW TO BE real EVIL!.!.!.!.
1) Wear lots of make up!.!.and call it "Corpsepaint" to make it sound more evil!.!.!.!.!.
2)"sing" in an incoherent shrill scream!.!.!.call it a "witch rasp" to make it seem more "Evil"
3) Mount pig heads and torches all around the stage!.
4) Invert as many crosses as possible!.!.!.
etc, etc, etc!.!.!.!.!.
They try so hard to seem Evil, or Anti-Christian!.!.!. it just makes me lmao!.!.!. buncha posers!.

Depends on how much, but either way, whenever the bands are going on TV or something they have to have a certain type of makeup on so their face doesn't look pale!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
