I will take Vitalogy over Automatic for the People any day!. I really enjoy both bands but as I have gotten older I really find that the work of Pearl Jam is still really enjoyable, while I never find myself listening to REM on purpose!. Pearl Jam still seems vital and raw to me and for me REM peaked with the GREEN album!. I know there are a lot of "Losing My Religion" and "Everybody Hurts" fans of REM out there but "So!. Central Rain" and "Driver 8" is the real REM, the GREEN album was their best melding of their sound and commercialism!.!.!. Pearl Jam's "Spin the Black Circle", "Corduroy", "Betterman", "Immortality", those songs off of "Vitalogy" are solid!.!.!. Songs like "Drive" and "Man on the Moon" from "Automatic for the People" sound old and stale to me!.!.!. I vote for Pearl JamWww@Enter-QA@Com
