It was originally The Great Rock Island Route and it was rewritten to become The Wabash Cannonball in 1904!.
It was released as a recording by both The Carter Family and Roy Acuff in the 1930s

4!.Orange blossom special = The original recording was Ervin and Gordon Rouse in 1939 but it was a hit in 1942 for Bill Monroe
