This Q is trickier than I first thought LOL
Before I start - My Favorite of these 3 is EPIC by far!. They are the only band that "maybe" invented Rap Metal, but in a Great Way - unlike Rapcore is now!.
According to worldwide sales - "Give it Away" was the biggest seller of the 3 and also had a Huge video release!.
The Peppers also benefited from having more hits off that album & the one before -- whereas Alice had less recognition before that -- and Faith's song was released in 89 (2 yrs earlier) and may not have held-up as well in the 90s as the first 2 that I mentioned!.
However "Man in the Box" won an MTV Video award for Metal and is ranked very high on VH1's All-Time Metal Songs!.
Now - as far as influence --
Faith No More had a chance, with an original sound, but not as many bands followed-suit IMO
Alice in Chains was already competing with the other Seattle bands - and to give them Direct credit for influence is difficult!.
I think with the diversity of ideas from Red Hot Chili Peppers - This gave a lot of Indie Bands permission to take chances and still get signed!.
So my pick for influence should be - RHCP
BUT - My problem with that as my Answer - is that I can NOT think of any other band that SOUNDS like Red Hot Chili Peppers!.
However - There are a TON of Bands that copied the bassy-heaviness of Alice in Chains!.
So my Final Answer would have to be ALICE IN CHAINS!.
I know what I'm doing in my deductions, here - but, I'm afraid that I may not have explained it very clearly!.

i'm not really sure what song was the biggest hit, but i think it'd be man in the box!. i always here it!.
the red hot chili peppers are so original, that it's hard to classify them as one particular genre!. they definitely had a huge effect on music!. they tried something new, and it worked!. so, i think that they put the biggest effect out of the three!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

hard to say, alice in chains was part of the grunge movement, and layne staley is no longer alive so he is most influential to me, but i think it's a tie since they are all different genres!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
