Question: What redems pop music (My enquiries)!?
Every time I hear some pop rock or rap song I listen closely to figure out why it's popular!. I find this quite interesting and I have recently started to figure out why it is popular!. There is art in it and I am seeing that now; unfortunatly it is not the music that is art (art has nothing to do with making money and that's all music is about nowawadys)!. The art is the singer or band's persona as this has the greatest effect on popularity!. I think the greatest example ever of this is a recent pheonmenon!. Miley Cryus has the persona of a teenage rockstar as this is a fantasy most if not all teenagers (including myself) share!. It's why a million guitars sell in the U!.S ever year alone which is close to ten times the amount of the next instrument down (which I'm sure would be a drum set or electric keyboard)!. Her own songs appeal to this persona as even more evidence, but with every band or singer today a persona appears (more in details)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The reason someone would like the vocals of Thom Yorke better than the insane Opera chick in that one Mozart piece is because they can relate to it more!. Rock and Pop is a trend, it's what appeals to this culture at the moment!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't really hate pop and rap music there are some good bands I really like listening too because they sound cool, but I don't think they are as good compared to rock, metal, techno, jpop, but that's just me I don't know what other peopel think!.
But I think the reason why people hate pop and rap is because:
1!. Usually if there was drama spread about bands in the news, or some rumor, usually it comes from pop, rap, or hip hop singers the most, it is rare you really see ones about rock, metal, techno, etc!. singers at all and if they do it isn't like so popular it is forever!. For example, anytime a pop singer has a boyfriends or a girlfriend, it goes on the news, like Britney Spears with Justin Timberlake or something!. If a rock singer got a couple, it really wouldn't spread far it isn't a big deal!.
2!. Depending on the subgenres, they usually have the steriotype, like boy bands always talking about girls in every party of the songs, a lot of people don't consider it to be creative and unique and usually when that does happen, it is once in a while!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Any music that is made for the soul purpse of making money is ****!. I prefer lyrics that mean something, music played from the heart!. I hate how these people played on the radio have their music and lyrics written for them!. But then, it's hard to find any decent music because the radio doesn't play anything you haven't heard 1000 times already, and when you do find something you like it is hard to find it because the internet is flooded with 'pop' music!.
