primus comes to mind- but i love all claypools side projects so maybe not
i could say similar about phish and trey
maybe the police, i mean they are back together now, but only to make money by being a cover band of themselves when they had talent!. but i donno, they were kind of moving in the direction of what would become stings crappy solo career and away from the good early albums anyway!.
maybe sabath- but it is just like with a lot of these, do you sacrafice the solo stuff!?
