I'm noticed some bands or fans like to label entire careers like that but I don't think so, alot of bands simply put out a few albums with great messages but it won't be every single album
Pretty much any Joy Division/Warsaw album!. (listen to the song novelty)
Radiohead - Ok computer and Amnesiac
At the drive-in - relationship of command
Marilyn Manson - holy wood
Metallica - master of puppets

Blue Oyster Cult were considered intellectual rock!.
It's funny, I read some story in some magazine where they were sitting in the dressing room, waiting on some rock writer to interview them!. The guy goes in there, and says "is this some sort of set-up or joke or something!?" - They were all sitting there reading books, looking up, going "what do you mean!? No, we like to read books!. Did you think we'd be sodomizing groupies or something!?"Www@Enter-QA@Com
