Do you think that Hip Hop is really dead??!

Question: Do you think that Hip Hop is really dead!?!?
Answers:
In one way yes and in another way no!. On one hand, hip-hop artists still churn out more albums and consumers still buy them, even as the numbers are decreasing by the day!. On another hand, one can argue that the hip-hop scene has lost its soul!. The dominating rap artists are almost all mediocre gangsta rappers who people absolutely despise, and actual hip hop artists are being ignored, causing people to develop an aversion to hip-hop/rap!.

It's not really dead; it's just at one of its lowest points in its history!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, but what do folks really MEAN when they say "hip hop"!?! I mean, in Europe there is an obvious division between what is "hip hop" and what is considered "rap" and what is considered "dirty south," I wish it were more obvious like that here!. Anyways!. If you're going to lump them all into one group then maybe it should just be called rap!. So whatever though!. No, I don't think rap is dead but I think a lot of the music that's been coming out for the past two years or so slums really hard!. I don't understand why people like groups/artists like D4L or Boosie or Lupe Fiasco or any of that other radio garbage that has been coming out!. I'm tired of hearing these commercial azz artists who are afraid to keep it real like people used to!. Like don't nobody struggle no more or something! Ya'll rappers knew you used to be broke, why you gotta rap like you BEEN rich when we know you aint and we seen you in that dusty azz white tee last year!?! I hate that shyt!. I'd rather hear about something I can relate to, not just about bricks and whips and shyt!. Like Pocket Full of Stones back in the day!. Man, that was my shyt!. People can relate to that!. Can't nobody relate to all this glamourus azz stuff!. Pff!. Plus I don't like sissy azz rappers like Lupe and Kanye!. I can't relate to that bamma shyt either!. Don't nobody wanna hear that backpacker azz rap that's made for white people's ears!. Obviously that shyt aint real either!. White people just fall for it because they think it's politically aware, etc!. Fcuk that!. I'll be politically aware on my own time, I don't need that shyt in my music/rap!. Puzzy azz rappers!. I used to love Wayne but he thinks anything he says is tight now so I pretty much can't stand him!. I don't think he's destroying the game!. I think folks got too much money tied up in the industry and it ain't used to be like that - it used to be more real!. So!. Whatever!. I'm chillin' cuz I can always listen to old music until better new shyt comes out!. Rap-A-Lot will always make good music, and there will always be chopped and screwed so I'm good and I don't think "hip hop," is dead or dying!. I think the majority of the record sales are suburban losers buying into the gangsta image and as long as that happens, there wont be too many changes!. But watch!. As the state of the county worsens, the tone of the lyrics will change back to normal!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
