All these "overrated questions" that've been asked lately, or the word "overrated"!?

you're right, what one person thinks is overrated based on their criteria for determining that a band is overrated will always be different to another persons!.
My example - Avenged Sevenfold, some people say that they're overrated and that they're not as great as everyone says they are because they're nothing new!. I say, I love their music and they are technically decent musicians so I don't think they're overrated!.
And as to my current favourite band (well it's bands I'm tied)

"Overrated" has a clear definition which does depend on people's views of music and music-related topics when music's involved of course but the overrated questions are getting rather out of hand!.
When you say that something is "overrated" that's your personal opinion, that's just part of the natural thought process in regards to how people accept something!. If they think there should be more support for something they'll call it underrated just like they'll call something they think has too much attention overrated!.
As for the questions there's really not much you can do!. #1: What are those questions going to do besides maybe make the asker a little more relaxed and #2: People are still going to listen to the music that they think is overrated!. They say that there's always a market for all forms of music whether that be permanent listeners, listeners going through emotional times or listeners wanted to find something new and compare it to other music!. Basically what I'm trying to say is that nothing is really overrated, it's at the popularity point that it is for a reason!.

Overrated is used to describe bands that do not deserve the praise they get!. It doesn't, by any means whatsoever, mean "bad"!. The Beatles, for example, were overrated because their music did not match the fanbase (a lot of crazy fans, may I add) that they received!. However, the Beatles are not bad at all!.
