I remember them- they were bobbins!! Signed to some record company(XL!?), for a milion quid if i can recall correctly!. Cross between the worst/best "punk" bands and new romantics!. I remember seeing them on TOTP and thinking what a load o tosh!!

I remember them!. Seemed to be a band who set out to shock, but coming in the post-punk era I think that they were always going to be struggling on that one!. As a consequence, I think that everyone thought at the time that it was all a bit 'old-hat' and the band never really took off!.
I seem to remember that one of the Clash was in the band but maybe I am wrong!.

Ah Tony James' glam/punk thing, big hair, 'futuristic' clothes, terrible songs that somehow have aged quite well, okay better than expected!.
Luckily Tony now making 'decent' music with Mick Jones of the Clash as Carbon/Silicon!.
