If everyone's trying to 'get famous' and be rock stars!.!.!.then why should I bother!? I mean, it seems as though the idiots always get famous anyway!. People like me who really care about music and are passionate about it never seem to make it!. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic!. See, I really wanna make music and have it heard! Who cares if I 'make it big' or not!! It's ABOUT THE MUSIC!! I'm so sick of posers who only care about $ getting all the glory!. What about us!?!? The ones who sit in our basements writing songs that no one will hear!? I can't tell you how much I want to succeed in music!.!.!.!.!.but it seems like because so many are doing it!.!.!.!.!.I'll just get drowned out!. So, should I even bother!? Yes, you should bother!. Like you said, it's about the music, it doesn't matter if you get big or not, it's about making a difference, no matter how small!. As long as you write meaningful lyrics, as long as you have passion for what you do, as long as you care about the music before ANYTHING else, you will make a difference in someone's life!. Your dedication alone will be inspirational!. And sure people will hear you!. I live in a very small town, and there's this place that plays local bands every weekend!. I bet there's something like that near you!. So, yes, go write music, who knows!? maybe at some point in time, you'll meet someone with connections and your stuff can be on the radio!.
