Does "Master of the Puppets" make Metallica satanic?!

Question: Does "Master of the Puppets" make Metallica satanic!?
The song, not the albumWww@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
No, it's not satanic, it's about a cocaine addiction!. The drugs are his master, he can't escape them!. The line "chop your breakfast on a mirror" shows it's about drugs especially, and once you know that, the rest of the song is obvious!. Leper Messiah, however, you could take as satanic!. But Master Of Puppets is totally fine!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If it does, you've just infected YA with Satanism by asking a question about it :) Good job!

Seriously though, no!. It's about being addicted to drugs, not worshipping Satan!. The interpretation is that the "Master" is heroin or drugs in general and they make us their "puppets", making us lose control!.

If you wanted to accuse Metallica of Satanism, you could probably find a better song than MOP to back up your idea, but it'd still be wrong!. I think Slayer would be a thrash band more easily associated with the Devil (South of Heaven, hmm, wonder what that's referring to); they aren't either, though!.

So there you go, you can be heavy to the point of sounding evil but still not be diabolical!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I've listened to that album no less than a million times [a slight exaggeration!.!.!.]

And where do you get it being satanic!? There are absolutely ZERO, less than zero, references so Satan!.

In fact, as a whole, Metallica's music and lyrics make far more references to God and Christianity stemming from James' upbringing in a Christian Scientist household!. He's disenchanted with Christianity but in no way does that make him and Metallica satanists!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Im afraid you're saying that just because it's a metal song!.

What alot of non-metal fans need to learn is that only like 5 % of metal bands are satanic (guesstimation)!.

Anyways, like everyone has said already, it's about drugs and how they control your life!.
"Twisting your mind, smashing your dreams"Www@Enter-QA@Com

Uh, no!. The song is about the crippling effects of drug addiction!. I can't for the life of me fathom where you're getting the idea that it has anything to do with Satan whatsoever!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The song has no connection to satanism whatsoever!. The song is about drugs but the reason some people believe that it's satanic is because James Hetfield wanted to make the song as evil sounding as he could in order to express his hatred of his drug addictions!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

How do you get satanism from a song about being addicted to heroin!? The answer is obviously no!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Put down the Bible, kid!. It will destroy your life!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
