Considering the way the band tends to work, I don't think they're writing or recording at the moment!.
Historically, they've preferred to tour for the latest album, take some time off for family, and then Neil will work on lyric ideas and Alex & Ged work on song ideas!. They'll choose a time to start getting material together, then record a new album!. They're touring now, so I wouldn't expect any new material until next year at the earliest!. They've earned the right to take as much time as they need between new albums!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

"Snakes and Arrows" is the most recent Rush album, released in May 2007!.
Previous to that, their last studio album of original material was "Vapor Trails" which came out in the spring of 2002!.

They are still touring in support of Snakes and Arrows!. If you havnt been to that concert,you have to go!. It was the best concert I've ever been to!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
